About Skopje Prayer House
The followers of Jesus were invited to live in active communion with God - have we prioritized his presence and voice in our lives and ministries?
Skopje Prayer House is a community of friends from different churches, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Together, we are committed to loving Jesus in worship and asking him to fulfill his scriptural promises to bring revival in the hearts of people and societies in the Balkan region.
We are committed to exalting Jesus in dark places, starting in our own families and neighborhoods. We meet throughout the week in the Skopje Prayer House prayer room, as well as in locations across our city and region, including in Skopje's Old Bazaar. Skopje Prayer House is co-located with Evangelical Church Soulcraft but works closely with churches and praying communities across Macedonia and the Balkans.

In addition to our times in the prayer room, we are committed to encouraging "living rooms of prayer" across our region, with families and friends gathering to eat together, share their lives, and pray together.
We believe in the power of prayer to transform lives and nations, and we are dedicated to seeing the Balkan region and beyond transformed by the love of Jesus.

So whether an empty room, or full of new friends, Jesus is worthy and we agree to give him our everything.

FAQ
-
Are prayer meetings in English? Many of our prayer meetings are in English - but you are welcome to pray in your native language! Whether it's Macedonian, Albanian, or Turkish - or Korean, Portuguese or Spanish - Jesus knows your language and we will say a hearty "amen" to the cry of your heart.
-
What should I expect at a prayer meeting? You can generally you can expect part of the time to be worship with songs, and part of the time to be either intercessory prayer around a specific topic or meditative prayer based around a specific scripture. You are welcome to pray and participate! Weekly Prayer Room Topics Monday: Various topics of intercession in Macedonia and our region Thursday: Israel (hour 1) and Turkey (hour 2) Friday: Worship with the Word (meditation and prayer around a scripture) Note: We focus on turning personal insights into prayer, rather than using these meetings as a time to edify each other through sharing/preaching. You may hear someone say "let's turn that into a prayer" - don't be offended, it just means it's time to pray it in!
-
Is Skopje Prayer House a church? The local church is vital - but Skopje Prayer House is not a local church. As believers meeting in unity from different local churches, we are gathering to worship and pray for God’s presence and Kingdom to be extended through the whole body of Christ into our community.
-
I need personal ministry - can I get this at a prayer meeting?Personal ministry to each other is vital and Skopje Prayer House is not primarily intended as a place of ministry to one another, but as a space for unified intercession, corporate worship, and personal time with God in prayer. People are often healed in God's presence, though! While we often have specific prayer sets periodically dedicated to healing and ministry, this is a key function of the local church and we encourage believers to seek this in their local community, or from prayer house friends just outside the prayer room.
